Before joining us, Daniel was the general manager and CFO of the groundbreaking dance troupe, Pilobolus, where he helped reorganize and streamline the dance troupe’s practices, creating a more economic and effective structure. He was also the COO/CFO for Guild—a nationwide experiential marketing agency—where he helped the company expand, open several offices across the country, and grow its workforce by hundreds of employees. As the owner of a theatrical lighting and technical management company, he designed lighting and managed multidisciplinary teams for more than 250 productions, winning several awards. Upon admittance to the bar, Daniel established a boutique legal practice specializing in providing legal services for members of the arts and entertainment industries.
Daniel is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829 of IATSE, and he has spoken at several conferences on legal and artistic topics. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University and graduated Cum Laude from Brooklyn Law School. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family and has recently discovered he’s an ace axe thrower.
