Designed to emphasize interdisciplinary learning between arts and humanities programs, this 176,000 square foot facility houses a diverse range of flexible, intimate, and robust performance spaces. The LEED-Gold facility, which was built in two phases, includes a 350-seat concert hall, 275-seat drama theatre, 120-seat flexible theatre, and dance studio. Encouraging cross-discipline learning, the facility includes a slate of support , rehearsal, and creative arts spaces including technical design labs. rehearsal studio, acting directing studio, recording studio, breakout rooms, flexible classrooms, design labs, and social gathering areas. Its extensive support spaces also include costume, scene, and electric shops; dressing rooms and make-up rooms; classrooms and offices. The center is a major component of the campus and enhances the visibility of both the theatre and music departments, while giving each department their own defined space.
