Nashville, Tennessee, USA
Belmont’s stunning new 87,000-square-foot concert hall provides a world-class venue for acoustic and amplified music in the heart of America’s Music Capital. The hall is an ideal setting for the university’s acclaimed music program, an intimate and versatile venue for touring groups and university events, and the perfect host for the annual live-broadcast Christmas At Belmont special. The 1,719-seat concert hall features a demountable orchestra shell and full fly tower. Theatre Projects designed the hall with side boxes and three tires of balconies pull the audience and performers exceptionally close, achieving an amazing intimacy for a room of its size. The venue also includes a green roof, grand lobby and two multipurpose rehearsal/event spaces that, when combined with the lobby, can hold more than 900 guests.
