Bethel Performing Arts Center
Theatre Projects provided programming and theatre design consulting for this ambitious 4,900-seat project located on the original Woodstock Festival site. The project was conceived to host concerts and festivals, and included a music pavilion with half-height stage house, an adjacent multipurpose theatre with a fully-equipped proscenium stage, and additional performance spaces. The Meier design was carried through design development. The project was significantly scaled back and realized under new direction as the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.
