Chetham’s School of Music, Stoller Hall
Chetham’s School of Music is the largest music school in the UK and is embarking on an ambitious program to bring their facilities up to date and provide the best learning and performance environment for their students. We’re helping the school to create the centrepiece of their new facilities — a world-class 450-seat concert hall capable of accommodating a full orchestra, plus associated support spaces. The new concert hall will be home to the school’s resident orchestra, Chetham’s Symphony Orchestra, who are widely recognised as one of the finest youth orchestras in the world. Our job is to create a concert hall to match their needs while providing an excellent learning environment and a modern performance space to welcome audience members from the local community as well as visiting artists from around the world.
