Eastern Connecticut State University, Fine Arts Instructional Center
This new 118,000 square foot arts center brings together a diverse group of arts students under one roof and features a 400-seat concert hall, a 250-seat drama theatre, and a 120-seat studio theatre as well as rehearsal and practice rooms, art galleries, classrooms, and visual arts studios. The facility is applying for LEED-Silver certification and features a number of green technologies and features like all-LED house and stage lighting, a liberal use of natural lighting, reflective roofing, automatic lighting controls, and efficient HVAC systems with heat-recovery ventilation.
