Mahidol University, Prince Mahidol Hall
This 376,730 square foot arts center features a beautiful multipurpose theatre that has been purpose-designed for Mahidol University’s faculty of music. The hall serves student performances, ceremonial gatherings, and opera as well as concerts by the Thai Philharmonic Orchestra. The theatre, which features a demountable orchestra shell, is designed as a traditional ‘shoe-box’ concert hall and its stagehouse is fitted with the latest technical systems including two elevators—one on the main stage and one in the orchestra pit.
