The Dubai Opera is a theatre that can do it all. This multiform theatre is capable of accommodating ballet, opera, musicals, amplified music, spoken word, banquets, and traditional Arabic performance art. To support the needs that this variety of artistic programming demands, we created a room that can change its physical form to perfectly suit the needs of any user or event type. State-of-the-art mechanized systems alter the position of the room’s side boxes, walls, ceiling panels, stage, and seating wagons—completely transforming the venue in less than four hours.
