Ashley Keen

Senior Consultant, Denver

As a key member of our strategic planning team, Ashley specializes in helping our clients plan for the future. She combines her past experience of working in flexible venues and multi-venue arts centers with a love of creative problem-solving to find solutions to support our clients’ strategic goals. She puts these skills to great use on feasibility studies, needs assessments, business planning, community engagement efforts, and more.

Ashley joined us from Mesa Arts Center, where she was the event services coordinator, responsible for managing multiple events occurring simultaneously, as well as prior roles there as a production supervisor and theatre technical coordinator. Before that, she was the assistant master electrician and assistant lighting designer at the historic Ogunquit Playhouse, and she’s also worked at Orlando Shakespeare Theater and Arizona State University.

Ashley earned a Master of Education in secondary education from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in theatre—design and production from Arizona State University. She is an IAVM Certified Venue Professional (CVP) and is a member of IAVM and USITT. She is currently the board treasurer for IAVM Region 7, the committee chair for the IAVM Young Professionals Committee, and a committee member for the IAVM Performing Arts Committee.

Our Team

It takes a village to create a special place for a community to call home. Our team brings together specialists with backgrounds in the performing arts, architecture, mechanical engineering, lighting design, acoustics, and more to offer a holistic approach to creating, renovating, or repurposing all forms of storytelling spaces. We understand the decisions that need to be made at every stage of the project and we know how to make a performance space work for artists, audience, and production teams.
