This includes careful design of room acoustics, sound insulation, and vibration control.
Before joining our team, Chris worked for AECOM where he provided consulting advice on a number of high-profile projects, including the refurbishment of studios at London’s BBC Television Centre, a replica Jacobean theatre for Shakespeare North, and the new London home for the for English National Ballet.
Chris has a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in acoustic engineering from the University of Southampton. He is a member of the Institute of Acoustics and is the secretary for the Institute of Acoustics’ Young Members Group.
Chris in action
It takes a village to create a special place for a community to call home. Our team brings together specialists with backgrounds in the performing arts, architecture, mechanical engineering, lighting design, acoustics, and more to offer a holistic approach to creating, renovating, or repurposing all forms of storytelling spaces. We understand the decisions that need to be made at every stage of the project and we know how to make a performance space work for artists, audience, and production teams.
