James Casciato
As our proposal manager, James is an integral part of our US sales team. He leads and supports pursuit and outreach for new opportunities, manages our database, and helps to translate our client’s needs and ambitions into a appropriate and digestible scope of work. With an aptitude for language and design, and a passion for clear, impactful, and responsive communications, he brings clarity and a thoughtful client-centered approach to our proposals, sales and marketing materials, and other communications.
Before joining Theatre Projects, James served a variety of roles including copy editor, managing editor, web editor, page designer, and reporter for Central Connecticut Communications, which publishes several daily and weekly newspapers. Previously he worked as a reporter and photographer for Patch.com, covering several Connecticut towns and as a public relations and marketing manager for two non-profit organizations—Service for Peace and The Kennedy Center.
James received his bachelor of arts in journalism from Southern Connecticut State University. He is an active musician and multi-instrumentalist with more than 25 years’ experience. In his spare time, he enjoys bothering his lovely wife, who is smarter than him, and heaping sarcasm and adoration and on his unruly 15-lb orange tabby, Harold.
Our Team
It takes a village to create a special place for a community to call home. Our team brings together specialists with backgrounds in the performing arts, architecture, mechanical engineering, lighting design, acoustics, and more to offer a holistic approach to creating, renovating, or repurposing all forms of storytelling spaces. We understand the decisions that need to be made at every stage of the project and we know how to make a performance space work for artists, audience, and production teams.
