Jason Kiely
Jason is an experienced equipment designer in the theatre and entertainment industries. He specializes in the design and development of stage machinery, production lighting, and audio equipment for use in theatres, concert halls, broadcast facilities and recording studios, and sporting venues.
Jason was previously a senior designer at JANDS in Sydney, Australia, where he was responsible for designing power flying systems, outdoor arena equipment, forestage platforms, and bespoke rigging equipment on projects. His project experience there was diverse, ranging from the design of new speaker cluster hoists at the Sydney Opera House, retractable acoustic reflector system at Hamer Hall, and a retractable LED screen system at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. He also designed a bespoke goods lift, auditorium rigging, and architectural lighting fixtures at The Star casino in Sydney as well as unique capacity curtain systems for Perth Arena and the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
