Michael Lindauer
With over 25 years of experience in theatre consulting, architectural lighting design, and audio-visual consulting, Michael has a great all-round understanding of what it takes to design engaging and immersive spaces for entertainment. As a project manager, Michael works on a variety of theatre and event space types. He has a unique specialty in performance design for maritime projects, having designed major venues and technical entertainment systems for over 40 new cruise ships.
Michael joined us from Nautilus Entertainment Design, where he was vice president and principal consultant, working on both maritime and land-based design projects. As vice president of Nautilus, Mike oversaw all facility design projects as well as day-to-day operations, while also directly managing the projects for several long-standing clients. He’s also worked as a mechanical system designer for both JR Clancy and ShowTech, and he’s freelanced as an audio designer for television and movies as well as a video/lighting technician.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College and is a member of the American Society of Theatre Consultants and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (I.A.T.S.E.) – Local 74, where he’s been working as a stagehand since 1996. Michael has always been drawn to the sea and he spent every available moment either in or on the water when he was growing up. That passion and connection to the sea continues to this day—from sailing, to scuba diving, to just listening to the crashing of the waves, he and his family take every chance they can to be on the water.

Our Team
It takes a village to create a special place for a community to call home. Our team brings together specialists with backgrounds in the performing arts, architecture, mechanical engineering, lighting design, acoustics, and more to offer a holistic approach to creating, renovating, or repurposing all forms of storytelling spaces. We understand the decisions that need to be made at every stage of the project and we know how to make a performance space work for artists, audience, and production teams.
