Peter Wilson
Peter’s approach to venue design blends his passion for live entertainment with his background in architecture. As a theatre designer, he’s responsible for theatre concept design, planning and programming, and standard details. His projects include spaces for the performing arts, education, venues for live broadcast, and adaptive reuse environments. He can work in several design and 3D modeling programs like AutoCAD and Revit for BIM to help clients visualize their spaces as well as helping to test different configuration options and explore sustainable solutions.
Before joining us, Peter was a senior project architect and associate at Gensler in Los Angeles, where he worked on the renovation of the Madrid Theatre, a new 600-seat theatre for the Television Academy’s Saban Media Center, and the repositioning of the historic 1,100-seat Variety Arts Theatre. He was also a project architect and associate at Barton Myers Associates, where he collaborated with the Theatre Projects team on the design of all three theatres at Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. He has also taught scenic design, chemistry, and literature classes at Harvard University.
In addition to his architecture license, Peter holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Harvard University, where he graduated Cum Laude with Dean’s List standing. In his spare time, he loves to cycle and has participated in the AIDS/LifeCycle ride eight times, raising a significant amount of money for charity. He also has a sweet tooth and will never say “no” to cookies!

Our Team
It takes a village to create a special place for a community to call home. Our team brings together specialists with backgrounds in the performing arts, architecture, mechanical engineering, lighting design, acoustics, and more to offer a holistic approach to creating, renovating, or repurposing all forms of storytelling spaces. We understand the decisions that need to be made at every stage of the project and we know how to make a performance space work for artists, audience, and production teams.
