Dolby Theatre
Originally known as the Kodak Theatre, this multipurpose theatre is designed specifically for live broadcasts and is the home of the Academy Awards®. The 180,000 square foot theatre complex includes one of the largest stages in the country, measuring 148-feet wide by 75-feet deep. Equipped with the latest theatre production systems, the venue can accommodate the largest-scale Broadway productions and touring groups of every size and style. The theatre, which features one of the most sophisticated sound systems in the world, can accommodate a range of performances throughout the year thanks to a flexible seating system that allows for 2,000 guests for live shows and up to 3,300 on Oscar night.
