The renovation of Northeastern’s Blackman Auditorium included a complete replacement and rearrangement of auditorium seating, a motorized front-of-house lighting hoist for safe and easy rigging, new side-stage lighting positions, renovated house lighting, reconfigured dressing and green rooms, and a dimmer system.

These new additions, along with new finishes and draperies, have revived the 1940s theatre and given the university an ideal space for lectures, film, dance, music, theatre, and more.
