The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi

We collaborated with faculty and administrative staff to ensure each arts discipline had the spaces and equipment they needed, and we gathered a team of noted artists from various disciplines to assist in our evaluation. The design of the center eliminates boundaries between disciplines and provides a versatile, robust slate of performance, educational, and creative spaces. The new facility features a 700-seat multipurpose theatre, a 150-seat studio theatre, an intimate 150-seat recital hall, and a 60-seat screening room. It also includes classrooms, rehearsal and practice rooms, scene and costume shop and a flexible exhibit, banquet, and meeting space.
