Corey Atwood is a Senior Consultant on the Project Management team at Theatre Projects. He brings more than two decades of experience delivering complex design and production projects across broadcast, theater, and immersive environments. With a background spanning scenic design, project management, fabrication coordination, and installation oversight, Corey has a comprehensive understanding of how technical systems, architecture, and creative intent come together to create successful experiences.
Throughout a career managing high-profile projects for organizations including CNN, NBC, MSNBC, ESPN, and the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration, Corey has led multidisciplinary teams through every phase of development. Other work as an Associate Designer and Project Manager involved developing design packages, site surveys, installation oversight, and venue adaptations for large-scale productions including the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and the Clinton Global Initiative.
Grounded in scenic and performance design, Corey approaches lighting systems with a strong understanding of visual storytelling. By combining this perspective with extensive experience coordinating complex technical and architectural stakeholders, Corey creates integrated lighting solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, operational requirements, and long-term project goals.
Corey holds a BFA from SUNY Purchase College, Conservatory of Theater Arts & Film, with a concentration in Scenic Design.
