John is a lighting and AV consultant with a background in both theatre and commercial projects. Through his practical experience of sound and video production and commercial project management, John has acquired an in-depth understanding of the technical complexity of performing arts spaces and the need to develop practical and cost-effective solutions.
 
Before joining our team, John worked as sound and video supervisor for the Barbican Centre, London. He produced shows for international productions and for the Royal Shakespeare Company and has toured with shows internationally. John has also worked in commercial AV project management, designing and overseeing the installation of complex AV systems in higher education and hospitality venues.
 
John has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in audio technology from Southampton Solent University and is a certified operator/programmer for manufacturers including Extron, Crestron, Yamaha, Digico, Disguise and Catalyst.
