Radford University, Douglas and Beatrice Covington Center for Visual and Performing Arts
This 50,000 square foot facility houses the university’s Department of Music and the Department of Theatre and Cinema. The state-of-the-art facility includes rehearsal rooms, an art gallery, teaching studio, music media center, and a 350-seat recital hall with an adjustable acoustic ceiling, perfect for anything from solo performances or large choral groups. The performance hall features a recording studio capable of reproducing audio and video of the highest quality. The facility features separate large instrumental and choral rehearsal rooms and a smaller chamber rehearsal hall, all three of which mirror the acoustics of the main recital hall, making them ideal practice spaces.
