Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts
This extraordinary multiform theatre is one of the most sophisticated venues in the United States. Through the use of hydraulic lifts and air casters, the architecture of the room can change into five possible configurations to suit any type of performance or event. The venue has been listed by Amusement Business Magazine as one of the Top 10 Venues – 5,000 Seats or Less in the US from 1993-2001, and was honored with an AIA Design Award in 1993, as well as a USITT Design Honor Award in 1994. The configurations include drama theatre, concert hall, flat floor banquet hall, multipurpose theatre, and arena.
