Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Milton Court

We worked closely with the client and design team to carefully design the hall to accommodate solo, chamber, orchestral and full-size symphony performances. It’s also fitted out with the latest audio and digital broadcast systems and has fully adjustable acoustics to make sure it meets the demanding acoustic needs of the different performances that will take place there.

The development also houses a multi-level 227-seat theatre, designed with a traditional proscenium arch and fully automated power flying, which will give students an experience akin to that of working in a professional theatre environment. These main spaces are complimented by an adaptable studio theatre, three major rehearsal rooms with sprung floors, and a TV studio suite.
