Musée Yves Saint Laurent – Marrakech, Pierre Bergé Auditorium
The 150-seat venue features a variable acoustic system embedded in the walls, as well as sound-diffusing panels and acoustic reflectors. Exceptional sound isolation was achieved through specially designed doors and a double-skin envelope. Motorized battens allow the easy rigging of lights and equipment, and our design and specification of all-LED performance lighting provided energy-efficient performance versatility. The room features state-of-the-art audio and projection systems, automated and programmable house lighting, and instant translation and satellite telecast systems. The technical systems were seamlessly integrated into the architecture, allowing audiences to focus solely on performances—not on the equipment. Our team was also responsible for the acoustic environment outside the recital hall. Free of mechanical and exterior noise, the exhibit spaces can function as intended—fostering thought and reflection on the work of Yves Saint Laurent and the culture he helped shape.
