New Orleans Jazz Museum

concerts annually
By day, the space is used as a video exhibit by the National Parks Service showing films on the history of jazz in New Orleans and by night, the space transforms into an exciting venue for live music. Theatre Projects designed the venue to be arranged in a number of different configurations including end stage, thrust, arena, cabaret, and runway. The intimate room’s low ceiling required lighting instruments that were both small and quiet, so Theatre Projects designed a system with all LED fixtures, compact fluorescents, and smart intelligent lighting—all of which require no conventional dimming and are environmentally friendly.
