Polonsky Shakespeare Center, Theatre for a New Audience

The theatre was inspired by one of Theatre Projects’ most ground-breaking venues—London’s Cottesloe Theatre—and like the Cottesloe, this courtyard theatre envelops the stage with the audience for incredibly intimate and dynamic performances. The  orchestra floor can be altered into endstage, thrust, flat floor, and arena configurations. Adjustable seating platforms and a robust, innovative rigging system provide the venue with structural flexibility that allows for maximum artistic flexibility.
