Royal Concert Hall

Nottingham, UK
Theatre Projects

This flexible, technically well-equipped concert hall with 2,249 seats was built by the City of Nottingham and opened in 1982. It adjoins the refurbished Theatre Royal, also owned by the City.

The concert hall stages mostly classical and popular music concerts. It was the first concert hall to incorporate a flexible platform with optional wing space, full suspension and theatre lighting and sound capability without acoustic compromise. Non-performance activities include conferences, films, trade shows, and new product launches.
