To create an environment of unrestricted creativity, we designed the studio theatre as a flexible and versatile venue that can be arranged in multiple configurations. The theatre features a technical ledge, wire grid, and state-of the-art audio and lighting systems, offering students hands-on experience with professional equipment. On the first floor, an intimate and acoustically variable recital hall is an ideal setting for small-scale acoustic and amplified performances. The room features adjustable acoustic devices including ceiling reflectors, articulated paneling, and acoustic banners and travelers. On the sixth floor, we designed a dance studio that features a sprung floor, pipe grid, walk-along curtains, and a floor-to-ceiling glass wall overlooking the Massachusetts Bay.
