The concert hall has been conceived as a venue with excellent acoustic qualities, on a par with the best concert halls in the world. It presents local music ensembles and international touring orchestras. The acoustic design of the concert hall is based on the successful “shoebox” format and accommodates orchestras of different sizes. The stage is designed to extend from a regular stage size for approximately 75 musicians to a large stage for international orchestras of over 100 musicians.
