The 650-seat rearrangement brings audiences closer to the stage, creating more intimate interactions, while new staircases and terraces increase circulation and provide greater access for people with disabilities. The renovation includes a new audio system, upgrades to LED lighting, new dressing rooms, and multipurpose rooms that can be used for rehearsal, classes, and other events. Theatre Projects provided a programming and planning study, exploring the needs of Atlanta Symphony, Alliance Theatre, High Museum, and Young Audiences in order to unify their needs into a clear plan for revitalization of the Arts Building.
