After three years of dedicated leadership and pioneering project management, Michael Lindauer has been named an associate principal with Theatre Projects. In a relatively short span, he has found comfortable footing inside of our 65-year-old company and supported on dozens of major projects. As a multi-disciplinary designer and project manager with a formal engineering background, Michael has innovated solutions for clients and communities across the globe, touching spaces as varied as arts centers, amphitheatres, retail locations, screening rooms, mixed-use developments, and maritime venues.

Michael joined us from Nautilus Entertainment Design, where he was vice president and principal consultant, working on both nautical and land-based design projects. He also worked as a mechanical system designer for both JR Clancy and ShowTech, and he freelanced as a video/lighting technician and as an audio designer for television and movies. With over 25 years of experience in theatrical consulting, architectural lighting design, and audiovisual consulting, Michael has a solid all-round understanding of what it takes to design engaging and immersive spaces for entertainment.

Michael’s new role as associate principal will offer him increased opportunities for leadership and greater influence in the steering of the our practice team.
