The main theatre presents small-scale professional tours and is used by the local Drama School. Its riverside bar also provides a focus for the arts groups of the town. This ‘found space’ has a flat floor with bleacher seating which retracts beneath a fixed rear balcony. Hinged panels swing out from the side walls and an adjustable header provide a proscenium for traditional productions.
