54,000
square-foot facility
The centerpiece of the center is a 330-seat drama theatre with an intimate seating configuration created with a balcony and side parterres that wrap the audience around the stage. A full fly tower, fully trappable floor, and high-tech lighting and sound systems provide the infrastructure for highly creative and ambitious productions. With full scene and costume shops, students have the resources for immersive hands-on performing arts education. The facility also includes a 50-seat studio theatre/classroom, cinema, and visual arts spaces. On the north side, the arts center opens onto the Frances Daly Fergusson Quadrangle, used by the drama department for outdoor productions and by the college for concerts and other campus events.
