Ashley Keen
As a key member of our Strategy & Operations division, Ashley specializes in helping our clients plan for the future. She combines her past experience of working in flexible spaces and multi-venue arts centers with a love of creative solution-finding to support our clients’ strategic goals. She puts these skills to great use on feasibility studies, needs assessments, business planning, community engagement efforts, and more.
Ashley joined us from Mesa Arts Center, where she was the event services coordinator, responsible for managing multiple simultaneous, cross-venue events. She also held prior roles there as a production supervisor and theatre technical coordinator. Before her time with MAC, Ashley was the assistant master electrician and assistant lighting designer at the historic Ogunquit Playhouse; prior to that, she held positions with Orlando Shakespeare Theater and Arizona State University.
Ashley earned a Master of Education in secondary education from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in theatre—design and production from Arizona State University. She is an International Association of Venue Managers Certified Venue Professional (CVP) and a member of IAVM and USITT. She is the immediate past chair of the IAVM Young Professional committee and a member of the Research committee. She is also the IAVM Arizona State chapter representative and the Region 7 assistant director.

We understand the decisions that need to be made at every stage of the project and we know how to make a performance space work for artists, audience, and production teams.
